Happy Graduation, beloved students!

Last week, my university where I am working with had its graduation week.  Although we are not a big university, but still the event was grand and successful.  Bouquets of flowers were sold everywhere as it becomes a tradition in Malaysia where family and friends will give the flowers to the graduands as part of the celebrations.

To date, I already serve as a lecturer for three years.  So, I have some students who graduated this year. As they walked on the stage to receive the degree, I feel so proud with them.  Most of them are now working at industry as software developers.  I always pray for their successes in their careers.

Some of the photos were taken on the day.

Meeting with final year project’s students

Today is the car free day at my university. Definitely I am not really agree as I love my fat 😁. I haven’t met my students yet for this semester, so I decided to meet them at the library, a place where I can reach by car.

Although my students progresses are not so well, but I decided to give them chance. This first meeting is just to warm them up. I asked them to recall what panels commented on them last semester, what are their plans in 2 weeks time, problems that are facing so far, and suggested solutions.

I wish my students do well in their projects. I love to see their success and get good jobs in future.

Love,

Welcome 2018 – is it still valid? :p

Hi readers! Are you still interested reading my blog? After long time, I think nobody reads mine expect me myself! haha.  Previous post mentioned about the first post of 2017..but actually it was the last as well! Nowadays, I think blog is not as glamour as other social medias like FB and Instagram.  Many people rarely share their stories through blog including me.  I guess it takes longer time even to finish a post.

As this semester has started for about 2 weeks, and I have to use fully English in my class, I feel that I need to sharpen my writing and also communication skills.  This is because I have a foreign student in my class.  In computer science course at my university,  it is very seldom to have international students at undergraduate level.  But not at this time.  I have an international student from Yaman.  As he could not understand Bahasa at all, so I have no choice.  Actually, I prefer to use Bahasa in my teaching as I can easily create jokes too. In English it is so hard.  Some students even do not laugh at my silly English jokes although I found them funny! Pity me! haha

But, that’s okay.  In two weeks time, I think I survive.  As I teach programming course, so many technical terms that easily explained in English and if I found student hardly understood my lecture, then I will explain in Bahasa too.  But so far, I do not need to reexplain to them.  I guess they understood me well (self-claimed). :p

In early 2018 year, I got a good news as well.  Finally, I have been confirmed as a government servant.  Alhamdulillah.  The journey to be what I am now is similar like travelling on curvy roads.  There are so many ups and downs.  But I manage to face it (I guess so!).

Besides my work progress, I am trying quite hard to do gardening every weekends or after returning from work.  The most recent plants that I grew were brinjals, pak choy and grape.  alhamdulillah I already ate my homegrown pakchoy twice and it tastes better. hehe.

My parkchoy- so fresh and lovely! hehe

20180224_182007[1]grape tree – thank you to my darling for building this cute greenhouse for my plants.

So, I guess that’s enough for now. Hopefully this post will not be the only post in 2018. hehe.  See you next time.

Love,

The first post for 2017

Too many things had happened since 2017.  But I am so happy with what Allah gave me so far.  Alhamdulillah.  Since Mid January, I have moved to my bank-loaned house 😀 .  The houses’ prices  in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu are quite expensive as compared to the facilities that are provided by the city council. For example, you need to bring your garbage to the main road. The garbage collector won’t pick up them in front of your house.  Besides that, there is no big shopping malls in city center except Mydin mall and Giant. Although I am not a shopaholic but still I need them for therapy. haha

My bank-loaned house 🙂

Like many people said, buying a (or more) house (s) is a good investment.  Yes, I do agree too.  After did some surveys, then my husband and I finally decided to buy the house (as shown in the picture above).  I like the environment there and also the location.  It’s not that far from UMT and the most important part is the price is within our budget. hehe.

I quite spent much at the kitchen.  I think that is the best part for wives especially to show their cooking talents.  I chose white colour for my kitchen because I want my kitchen to look wider.  But as it is in white colour, I need to clean it up right after using the kitchen which is so tedious job! Luckily Mr. hubby always helps me to clean it. Thanks hub (I knew you will read this post) :D.

Okay, I think that’s all for now.  In the next post I will share my new interest which is gardening! I love to plant vegetables now. Will tell about it later.

Jalan-jalan Cameron Highlands

Kami terus check in kat hotel Casa de La Rosa. Cantik view hotel ni.

view dari bilik…sejuk mata memandang

Ini bilik kami sewa

Hotel ni bahagian depan

Lepas berehat 2 jam, kami ambil peluang untuk minum teh kat tepi ladang. Walaupun perut ni tak leh nak minum teh sangat, tapi tetappp nak pi minum. Hehe.

Tapi kat Bandung takde.

Cantik sangat view ladang teh Bharat valley ni

Lepas balik dari ladang teh tu, kami terus balik hotel. Hotel ada buat pakej dinner rm19 untuk 2 orang. Terus lah grab kan. Tak yah nak keluar pula cari makan.  Lepas tu terus kami tak keluar dah.

chicken grill with mushroom soup

Esoknya, sebelum balik ke Ipoh, kami jalan-jalan dulu ke Taman Pertanian Mardi.  Bayaran masuk cuma rm3 seorang.  Oklah buat lepas bayar baja kot kan. hehe. Sebiji buah pun takde :p

Tapi ada taman-taman yang menarik. Macam taman rose dan daisy.

20161027_1028541

Cantik tp taman rose dia still tak leh lawan kt Rose garden , Volksgarten, Vienna Austria :p

20161027_1027561

Kalau nak feeling2 uk summer tu..kat CH ni oklah sikit. Tapi sesungguhnya rindu sgt Bristol.  Bukan nak buat PhD lagi tapi rindu kehidupan yg tenang dan aman.

last but not least..gambar acah-acah romantik kt pokok labu air

Trip to Bandung – part 3

Lama betul nak sampai ke Part 3. hehe. Ya Allah, busy betul dengan kerja skang. Rasa mcm dah tak ingat sangat percutian 3 bulan lepas.

Kalau pengantin2 nak beli kain lace…situ sangat berbaloi. Esoknya, kami dah balik Terengganu. Seronok pengalaman berada di Bandung selama 4 hari 3 malam. Ada rezeki jumpa lagi!

Trip to Bandung Bah.2

SONY DSC

Masih nampak pokok2 di celah2 ladang teh

SONY DSC

Awan dah nampak gelap..tapi mujur tak hujan ketika kami di sana

SONY DSC

luas ladang teh kat sini

Sebelum kami pergi lunch, kami singgah kejap di pusat penangkaran rusa @ deer conservation life.  Tempat dia agak dhaif la…rasa kalau kat mesia dah tentu buat molek tempat ni. Bangunan kayu je tempat kita observe rusa tu.  Sambil2 tu boleh bagi makan.  Beli je carrot kat kaunter dalam 20k rupiah kot…pastu dah leh bg rusa makan.  Actually first time dpt pegang rusa ni.  Masa kecik2 pergi zoo tengok dari jauh ja.

SONY DSC

muka excited dpt bagi makan…tapi muka rusa tu..releks je 😀

SONY DSC

adik tu anak tokey…selamba bagi berplastik2 carrot.

SONY DSC

alamak…pi sua kt hidung dia pulak… :p

Ada berbelas2 ekor juga rusa kt sini.  Asalnya datang dr hutan berdekatan, terus jelah diorang bela sampai membiak.

Selepas kami melawat rusa tu, barulah kami lunch.  Mujur lah perut dah awal2 isi pisang molen, so late lunch tu tak lah rasa kebulur sgt 😀

Takut pula terus baring kalau bersila masa makan.

SONY DSC

mula2 sampai dijamu teh kosong. Rasa macam green tea.

Padanlah lama kami menunggu.  Enak bangat sihh.

SONY DSC

nasi bakar.  Ada ikan bilis juga dalam nasi ini.

SONY DSC

Ni dalam dia..kenyanggggg sgt lepas makan.

SONY DSC

ni pulak ikan gurame masak asam manis..ikan gurame sejenis ikan air tawar.

SONY DSC

Selepas makan..barulah perjalanan diteruskan untuk check in hotel.  Tapi sempat lagi singgah di Cibaduyut..tempat murah barang kulit seperti beg tangan dan kasut.  Sayangnya, tak ambil gambar pun kat sana.  Walaupun asalnya nak tengok jer…terrrrrbeli juga satu beg kulit.  Harga dalam 1.1juta..tapi rupiah la..hehe

Eh lupa nak kabo, kalau kehabisan cash jangan risau.

Lepas dah shopping dan check in hotel, kami dinner pula.  Aku request nak bakso.  Pastu Adam bawa kami ke Bakso Boedjangan.  Ala-ala cafe hipster itu.  Mostly anak2 muda yang datang makan.  Unik konsepnya.

20160819_201220[1]

penuh kedai makan ni

20160819_201204[1]

siap ada doa ..hihi

20160819_201141[1]

So tamat perjalanan hari pertama.  Adam caj kami 550k untuk perjalanan kami satu hari tu.  Esoknya baru lah start conference tu. Time ni kaki dah sakit sangat dan mata pun layu.  Sambung lg nnt.
